Finally in 30th July of 2011, Mechanix released their long awaited and much anticipated debut album "Oporajeyo" from Deadline Music (DLM).Arbovirus is a rock band based out of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Rusho has retained a close relationship with the band and is deemed a lifetime member of Mechanix. Unfortunately at that time, Rusho had to stop performing as he got very busy with life and the band had to recruit Nadwee as a new bassist. The band was also continuing work on their debut album on the side and was completely done with it by August 2010. Another hit, "Itihash '71" dedicated to the Liberation War of Bangladesh was released in the next year in the next compilation, "Rock 404". The band then proceeded to make song with this new lineup and released their iconic hit "Dhruboshor" in the band mixed album, " Rock 202" by Iqbal Asif Jewel in 2009. Then Zeheen, elder son of Manam Ahmed from legendary band Miles, replaced Imran as the lead guitarist. The lineup for the band remain unchanged until 2008 when Imran got into personal problems, which forced him to leave after which he won the copyrights of the song "Joddha" and he took it with him leaving Mechanix with no songs. This song was composed, tuned, written and recorded by ex-guitarist Imran. Mechanix then finally got the opportunity to release their first ever single called "Joddha" in the Band Mixed Album "Underground 2" coordinated by Ibrahim Ahmed Kamal (of Aurthohin/ ex-Warfaze fame at that time). Reaz, their drummer also was awarded "best drummer" in the nation-wide band hunt. Mechanix got their first big break by participating and eventually going up to the semi finals of D'Rockstars2 in 2007. The band was very well received by fans and was quickly making a a name for themselves. With this first lineup, the band went on to make history by covering Holy Wars, Tornado of Souls, Master of Puppets, Painkiller etc. Imran from Prisoners joined in as the lead guitarist. Tridib, Tamzid, Reaz and Rusho joined forces and from the ashes of their ex-bands Metrical and Annex (also known as, Vetust) formed "Mechanix" on 23rd November, 2005. The formation of Mechanix dates way back in 2005. Mechanix thanks all major bands and underground bands who have helped them out, and dedicates the album tor the fans, for what they are. Deoyeedt Annahal Pallab wrote 9 of 10 songs of the album while the first track, Kalo Raat was written by Irfan Rafi. The album art and photography was done by Mohsen Sunnah. Mechanix's official logo was done by Nathan Bicheno from New Zealand. The album was mixed and mastered by none other than Raef Al Hasan Rafa (of Aurthohin fame at that time), who coincidentally produced the debut album of the D'Rockstars2 winners, Powersurge. The message behind the album was patriotism, revolt and the fight for building a better world. The band also managed to create a bridge between the heavy metal listeners by introducing them to the genre of metal music in a more melodic and rhythmic way. Through this, Mechanix received enormous, appreciated and valued responses from all both Bangladeshi and International music fans. It was also a key band that made it into the semi-finals of the second season of the nation-wide band hunt program by GrameenPhone's youth oriented offering Djuice's aptly named " D'Rockstar2" in 2007. Comprising of ten songs, it was the result of Mechanix's of being in the underground music scene for 6 years. It was released on 30th of July, 2011 from Deadline Music (DLM) in paperback format.
